Chris and the gang are polishing the 2009 Estate Pinot Noir for bottling in a few weeks. The wine has been "pushed" out of barrel and is in our large (for us) blending tank. This is so every bottle of Benton-Lane Pinot Noir tastes the same. If we were to bottle out of individual tanks, then we would have lots of different lots, all with their own characteristics.
The wine will be gently bottled and then will age in our cool, dark warehouse prior to release next spring.
